DOES YOUR CHILD LOVE MUSIC?

The St. James Choir School invites all children into the world of music.

Children’s lives are enriched through fun music classes, private instruction and formal choral singing.

Families enjoy being able to participate in many activities at St. James on “Wonderful Wednesdays” while their children are learning music.

DO YOU KNOW A TALENTED YOUNG SINGER LOOKING FOR A CHOIR?

SJEC Jake Moorehead
Jacob Moorehead - one of our youngest singers, is a Novice Chorister.

Novice Choristers are typically in 2nd or 3rd grade.

They enjoy a brief Wednesday rehearsal and sing a portion of the Sunday service.

It’s a nice routine for very young singers wanting to experience the choral service.

PIANO LESSONS ARE AVAILABLE.

Our staff includes David Cason (B.M. Organ Performance, University of Kansas 1996) assisted by volunteers experienced in the art of teaching music to children. Some are retired music educators. Choir Parents are integral to the support of the program and ensure that we make time for fun.
