Vacation Bible School 2024

Neighborhood VBS 2.0!

St. James is again joining with our neighborhood friends/churches for our 2nd ecumenical VBS! And we are expanding! College Hill UMC, Grace Presbyterian, Pleasant Valley UMC, Plymouth Congregational, St. James, and University Congregational are comin’ together to spread the fun and love of Christ! Don’t worry it is still no cost and friends are invited!

When?  June 17-21 from 5:30 – 8:00 pm.
This includes a dinner for the kids from 5:30-6:00 pm.
July 21 will be an ice cream social at 6:00 pm for the whole family.

Where? At Plymouth Congregational Church, 202 N. Clifton Ave.

Theme? Just Like Me: Digging In & Growing Deep

This intersectional curriculum is designed to help kids celebrate their own identities as beloved creation of God – just as they are. Over the course of the week, campers will be introduced to a cast of neighborhood Gardeners who will help them explore Biblical stories of people who were able to change things for the better. Students will practice sharing what they have, finding their community, and using their voice for others!

We will still need volunteers and donated materials! More info to come.
